At The Thing Co, we love spending time in nature and sharing good times with family and friends.
We love the simple and practical things in life, we care for our environment and believe in sustainability. We created our Things to elevate our outdoor experience and are thrilled to be able to share them with you!
The journey to becoming The Thing Co, started in South Africa back in 2014,
at Kirstenbosch Gardens in Cape town. Every summer the gardens host music concerts in the amphitheatre and crowds gather on the rolling lawns for a picnic. Countless cups, glasses and bottles take a topple, spilling their contents on the grass. Which is great for the ants, but not so great for us! So we put our thinking caps on and came up with an idea for a picnic drink holder that can take all shapes and types of drinks. Our unique design is guaranteed to put a stop the topple of your favourite tipple.

One sunny day whilst planning travels into Africa, we wondered about how nice it would be to to relax fireside in our campsite in a reclining chair, one that you could take with you anywhere, with of course a Drink Thing in hands reach. So once again, we put our thinking caps on and created a sturdy, compact and lightweight two piece chair. A chair that is easy to carry and can go anywhere because it takes up very little space.
Welcome to the Anywhere Chair!
Recently we found another fabulous thing that we just had to share. We have all had a favourite pair of flops snap, even a pretty new pair with some good tread left, so annoying! Well this little tool called a Skrewit will have your flip flop fixed in no time at all. Keep one on your key ring for emergencies! Most importantly you will not have to throw your flops away, saving a pair of perfectly good flip flops from becoming rubbish way before their time. Save the ocean, Fix your Flop!
Welcome to Fix your Flop!
